The Vermont Managed Care Network reaches into 9 Vermont counties, with its primary concentration of providers located in northwest Vermont in Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, and Lamoille counties.  Membership to VMC is achieved through contracts with two Vermont PHOs (Physician Hospital Organizations), The Northwestern Vermont PHO and the Copley PHO, and also individual facility and provider contracts throughout the VMC region.

For the Fletcher Allen Preferred Plans, The VMC Network has been expanded to include the Central Vermont PHO and The Hitchcock Alliance. View Network Statistic Graphic.

All together the VMC Network is represented by over 2,700 providers, including 1,774 physicians, of which 509 are Primary Care Physicians.
