The VMC Provider Relations team strives to give our Network the highest level of quality service in the area. As primary liaisons between our providers and contracted Health Plans, accessibility and timely turn -around are key to accomplishing this goal.

Beginning as a department of one, the VMC Provider Relations team has grown to meet the increasing demands of an ever-expanding network. From scheduled education and problem-solving "sit-down sessions" to informal "drop-ins", Provider Relations brings the tools, knowledge and established relationships with local health plans needed to help you provide care in a managed care environment.

We are here for you. VMC Provider Relations negotiates and implements streamlined operational processes across contracted health plans, advocates for the providers and their staff in payer relations issues, and answers provider questions regarding benefit coverage, referral and authorization processes, and global managed care issues.
